The visibility of the meteorological sense (MOR) is determined by the amount of light scattered by the suspended particles in the atmosphere (smoke, dust, fog, rain, snow). Through the measurement of the extinction coefficient, and then through the transformation of the standard formula will be able to obtain the desired value of human eye. Using the principle of pre scattering measurement (42 degree angle), which is recognized by the World Meteorological Organization, it can ensure a larger measurement range, which makes the detected data more representative.

The system is installed in a sturdy and corrosion resistant chassis, which is made up of two parts;

(1) Light source emitting and receiving probe.

(2) Analog / digital interface and controller unit.

In order to facilitate the installation, all the cable interface and power protection are in the same chassis. Using special mounting plate, the equipment is easy to fix on the pole or wall.
